LIS 2a Class12/03/2013 and 18/03/2013 Oral Presentations

In class we learned about infomercials and how they are different from a regular commercial:
  • Long
  • On TV or the internet
  • Deals and promotions
  • Gifts
  • Repetition
  • Demonstration
  • Lab tests
  • Direct buying (phone number)
  • Before/After
  • For everyone
  • Can't live without the product
Examples of 4 real American informercials:

Project due 25/03/2013 in class.  In groups of 2 or 3 you need to make an infomercial to present in front of the class using one of these products.  Make sure to follow the structure of the infomercial that we discussed in class.  Each person needs to speak equally and you will be graded by myself and by your peers in class.
