Announcements/Changes for Masters

For ALL classes please regard the changes to the syllabus post!

 There will no longer be a group presentation in the class.  I have spoken with the other language professors and we have decided that this year there are not enough seances to merit having a group presentation.  

This means that the homework assignment will now be worth 30 percent of the grade and the final will be 50 percent!  

Clarification for the graded homework assignment:

• 3 times during the semster you will be propsed a question to respond to at the end of class.  This question will be about the information learned during the class.  
• You must write a 250-300 word (preferably typed) response to this question at home and turn it into me during class the following week.  (ex. if you are assigned the homework on the 24/09/2012 the assignment will be due the following Monday 01/10/2012).
• You must only do 1 of the 3 homeworks propsed!  
• I will not grade all three and give you the best note, it is up to you to choose when you do your homework.
